Musical style ranges from classic rock to pop to alternative. Not known for glam-punk or electro-pop. Join barcode for a laid back evening, Mayne Island style.

Saturday, September 21st, at the AgHall on Mayne Island. Doors open at 7 pm.

The 94th Annual Mayne Island Fall Fair is on Saturday, August 17, 10 am to 4 pm. Below is the Schedule of Events.

9 to 4 Fernhill Road Closure – Dixon Rd. To Thrift Shop. Parking at School, Fire Hall, Community Centre and road allowance in front of school. Community Bus shuttle to Fair via Felix Jack Rd. No traffic through parade marshalling area on Fernhill Rd. From 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Do not throw candy from floats into the crowd. This is very dangerous. Handicap parking is available at Service Station
10:00 Fair grounds open
Good Karma Cafe opens on Hall patio: coffee, tea, sandwiches, sweets Farmers' Market and Community Groups on Minty open Museum/Gaol and Barn open
Lions burgers and hotdogs open
Parade assembly, Fernhill and Campbell Bay Rd., parade judging starts
10:30 am to 11:30 Live entertainment on Fair grounds outdoor stage with Dita
11:30 Parade begins
12:15 Fall Fair declared open
Hall exhibits open. Registration for Zucchini Races begins.
Master of Ceremonies, Brian Haller announces door prizes and activities
during the day.

Starry Nights in Dinner Bay Park: Sat Aug 17


UPDATE: Postponed due to cloudy weather on August 10th. Scheduled for Saturday August 17th, 8:30 pm, Dinner Bay Park.

Saturday August 10th, 8:30 pm Dinner Bay Park. It’s a tradition — every August when the Perseid Meteor Showers are at their peak, the Conservancy hosts a “Starry Nights” event. We’ve invited back last years expert, Scott Mair who will show us some of earth’s closest neighbouring planets including Jupiter & its moons along with Saturn & its rings in our tour of the night skies, conditions permitting. Goodies & warm beverages by donation.
