MI Conservancy's AGM & "Raising the Green" - Sat Mar 17

Saturday March 17, at the Ag Hall, is a big day for MICS.

Our AGM will take place at 3:30 pm. There has been a lot going on over this past year so come and hear a summary of it all in our project reports.

All are welcome and members (join or re-join at the door!) may vote in the business & elections part of the meeting.

Then, at 6 pm, to honour St. Patrick's Day, we will be hosting Raising The Green, a FUNdraiser.

This event will be kicked off with a  Community Pot Luck Dinner at 6:30 pm (please bring table ready dishes as the facilities and space in the Ag Hall kitchen are limited) followed by a community dance to the music of Compassion Gorilla.

Compassion Gorilla is an 8 piece troupe of musical magicians, including a MICS staff person, Chris Fretwell. They play a unique concoction of world beat and latin folk and, I am told, they might just have a few Celtic numbers in their box of tricks.

There will be prizes for "Best in Green," a silent auction, 50/50 draw(s) and more.

So mark your calendars, put on your (green) dancing garb and come out for a fun-filled evening while supporting MICS.

Tickets at the door are $15. Children under 12 are welcome and free!
Tickets to "Raising the Green" are available, in advance, at the Farm Gate Store
